A Pery Art Deco style platinum diamond cocktail bracelet watch from the 1950s, set throughout in iridio-platinum with diamonds across the bezel, shoulder links, and integrated bracelet. The rectangular case carries a white dial with combination indices, small dot markers punctuated by triangular applied hour markers behind an acetate crystal, and the diamond-set bezel and ornate foliate shoulder links give the case the presence of a jeweled cuff. The AS 976 is a Swiss ladies' form movement with 17 jewels, produced across several decades and widely used in fine dress watches of this type. The bracelet lies flat and supple against the wrist, and the piece reads as a diamond bracelet before it reads as a watch, which was precisely the point for platinum cocktail watches of this era.
