An oval moonstone cabochon, weighing approximately 6 carats, centers this vintage 14-karat yellow gold cocktail ring. A blue sheen drifts across the stone's rounded surface as the ring turns, brightening and softening with the angle. The effect, called adularescence, comes from layered feldspar inside the stone scattering light in different directions. Round brilliant diamonds trace a halo along its edge, adding sparkle at the border. The split shank keeps the ring close to the finger, giving it a low-set profile that reads as a statement piece.
