Vintage Evil Eye Diamond Dome Ring in 14K Gold
Circa 1970
Truly unique vintage dome ring with an “evil eye” style design, dating to around the 1970s. The shape is what really sets this one apart—the structure tapers upward in a really bold sculptural way that gives it a dramatic, dimensional look on the hand.
At the center is a 0.50 carat round brilliant cut diamond, prong set right in the “eye,” with subtle beaded detailing along the sides that adds to the overall exotic feel. The diamond is bright and clean, approximately G/H color and VS2 clarity.
The ring is crafted in solid 14K gold (stamped inside the shank) and has a nice weight to it at 9.5 grams—it feels substantial without being too heavy to wear comfortably.
