Old European cut diamonds sit in pairs along the length of this Art Deco platinum bracelet, approximately 9 carats in all. Milgrain-edged collets hold each pair inside geometric openwork panels, with engraved scrollwork along the side galleries that shows only from the edge. The old European cut predates the modern round brilliant, and its smaller table and higher crown give a soft, broad flash under low light. The links articulate freely, so the bracelet curves close to the wrist and lies flat across it, wide enough to stand as the only piece worn.
