A Hamilton Art Deco diamond cocktail bracelet watch in platinum, produced in 1940 with a manual-wind Caliber 747 movement. The tonneau case sits within an integrated bezel set entirely with round brilliant diamonds, flanked on each shoulder by a pair of marquise-cut diamonds in open floral mounts that flow seamlessly into the bracelet. The bracelet itself is platinum throughout, with round brilliant diamonds channel-set in every link, carrying the stone coverage from the case all the way to the fold-over clasp. Hamilton's Caliber 747 was among the finer American manual-wind movements of the late Art Deco period, and in platinum with this depth of diamond coverage, the piece reads as jewelry that happens to tell time.
